These sketch is my attempt to recreate my version of Ramayana, the Asura army. I was inspire by many cultural mythology and its origin. These ones are influence by Hinduism myth.

In Hinduism, the Asura (Sanskrit: असुर) are a group of power-seeking deities, sometimes referred to as demons or sinful. They were opposed to the devas. Both groups are children of Kashyapa. The views of Asuras in Hinduism vary due to the many deities who were Asuras then later became known as Devas.

I never heard of these names....I'll make some reasearch on them! Good work as usual! I should use my scanner to make Photoshop Artwork, usually I keep my paper artwork on paper and not convert it to digital work- I'll work on it! Thanks xia, thanks from my heart.

P.S. Last time Xia I sent you an e-mail asking you about the settings of the brush (I watched the vids regarding the brushes but still they haven't resolved my problem), please reply to me as I need your help. Thanks man!

Thanks Xia for the Golden information you're giving to us artists!

Cool ideas, I notice that the second image seems to have been a continuation from your Titan concept. It'd be nice to see Ravana as a completed piece.

When working as a concept artist, do you often have to work to a strict brief, or do they tell you (as an example) just the name of the creature?

luca>> I know not many people heard of these character unless you are into Hinduism. It's an old long saga of two kingdom way back when in ancient India. It's like Lord of the Ring meets Illiad.

Blog> Thanks, sure I will.

Chris> Thanks, that is my intention, but it will take a long while to complete. It works both ways, depending on the assignment and who you work with.
