THE ORIGIN of them all!!! My childhood favorite (I only see the third re-run)
Here is the Classic original Getter Robo:

Getter Robo (ゲッターロボ - Gettā Robo) is a Super Robot manga series created by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa, as well as an anime series produced by Toei Animation. The series was broadcast on Fuji TV from April 4, 1974 to May 8, 1975, with a total of 51 episodes. Getter Robo is often credited as the first combiner robot in anime history, although the Astroboy series featured combining robots in a few episodes in the previous decade. (more on wiki)

First I'd like to thank you for your tutorials, they are very helpful. I love your work. It continues to inspire me to get better with my coloring.

Second, I was wondering. How do you get that palette thing on the side of your screen? Is it a plugin, or is it only exclusive to photoshop CS2?

XIA said...

Joe D> Thank you, glad my tutorials help. The palette is just a .jpg or psd file that I open along with the working file so I can color pick them.

Awsome tutorials... TNX allot.

I'd like to see some tutorials about the technical aspacts of Photoshop, like using what layer for what phase in the drawing. And what blend mode for what layer...

Softlion> I usually use overlay and multiple in the beginning stage to get the values arrange in the beginning...then after that you have to know how the values and drawing principles come in to play. Keep watching more vid, then you will understand. :)

Also read anything in the comment section, you will probably find valuable stuff in there. I should actually gather some of the good ones then make a blog post of them. Um...yeah

peace!
