Anime girl, Character concept design, Dark Mage part 2

Manga Character concept design, Dark Mage sketch and drawing part 2.

Here is a work in progress after I spend sometimes about 20 minutes in Photoshop after I scanned the initial drawing in. Continuation from a quick concept idea of Fantasy Character concept design for video game or manga. This one spend a bit more time than usual short video sketches.

-Genius MousePen 6x8
-Wacom Intuos3 6X8 Pen Tablet
-Bamboo (Small) Pen Tablet (new from Wacom!)

*You can just use pencil, paper, markers on this one...just practice rendering.

Well done Xia for this one....As you always say the value makes the image wonderful! You should make more video tutorials of making colored illustrations rather than the grayscale or monochromatic ones.

Luca>> There are approximately 250 videos on this site...and plenty of color ones. Feel free to look around :) Value (gray-scale) is the foundation, without it or knowing it, it doesn't matter what color it is...if your value is wrong, it will turn out wrong.
Sargent and other master artists alike emphasis on value then color.
Grey-scale painting (monochromatic or acmromatic) will help you or us achieve our goal.
