Great Stuff man... I really like his mouth expression! I think this one would really be good in Kapow Express.
By the way, I know it has nothing to do with this post but brother, what do you think of my last posts on the community. I post just to be criticised. If I don't get feedback and opinions it's hard for me to improve!

Thanks and well done again!

You seem to refer to John Singer Sargent a lot: I've seen some of his portraits in an exhibition while I was still living in Paris, really nice stuff.

Although are you familiar with his contemporary Joaquin Sorolla? You might also like his work because he too studied a lot about effects of light on certain materials, especially cloth.

Luca> Thanks Luca, yeah...I was going to comment on your line art post of super hero. You have come a LONG way, great job. That also inspire me to do possibly Capt America since the movie will be out soon. :)

dahaca> Ha ha ha, I was thinking the same thing. Big Bow, maybe I will tweak it into BigBow version of Kapow.
Good idea!

An-Tim> I love his work. There are many different way to paint things for painter, but his way (to me and many great artists), seems to be the fastest, easiest and the most accurate depiction of life. Also Craig Mullins is my fav, he took it a step further in the same stlye.
I also love Sorolla, he is a MASTER. Copying master is also a great way to study. It will teach you something you never notice, also could be a fast track to understanding. That give me an idea for tut...but that will be really hard to pull off.

Thanks for all the comments guys!!!

Really like the brush strokes on this one. The lighting is also great - I can easily imagine this guy standing in a street at noon in some place like italy.

Just curious here but whatever happened to your robot sketching? You seemed to have a speight of those (infact it was what first drew me here!).

Afa Studio> Thanks, then you will probably like the next one also then :)

Chris> Thanks brother! Ah YES, the Robot and Mecha, I almost forgot what they look like. Now I have to go sharpening my skills and tool and prepare for the Mech Tut launch!
Cheers!!!

An-Tim> Good thing you mention!!! Actually, yeah...John Sargent, Ander Zorn, and Joaquín Sorolla are in the same school of thought. They, presumably, knew each other. And if I am correctly, they are all parallel and influence each other if you look at their painting and their progression.
