get site, thanks for the demos! I was wondering about the color selection palette that you show in the upper left side of the picture on this one. Obviously it is one that you made, do you use this instead of the color swatch palette to choose colors? Is it on a separate layer? Just wondering.

Manroy>> Thanks man!
Michael dooney>> Yep, it's just a separate layer. It's just help me quick pick my usual color. Just like traditional painting, each painter often has his/her fav palette for different purposes.

Thanks for all the tutorials, they're great. But I've been wondering about something on this one. When you start coloring, do you change layer or do you use the same one you started the sketch on? And what settings do you use for the layer (normal, mutiply, screen) and color(opacity and hardness, flow)?
Thank you :D

This question is rather advice would be...if you want a solid color for the object, get 100% hard default brush. Flow I don't bother with. Soft brush is for creating soft edge and blending. I use all three layer in the beginning to get the under-painting and the value I want, then I paint on normal or on the painting itself.
If you can get comfortable with monochromatic color scheme and get the values right, the coloring is only a small step from there.
