Superman, Man of Steel first look.
Henry Cavill plays Superman in director Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel." The film also stars Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent's adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, are Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.
I am personally excited about this new Superman which will be directed by Zack Snyder. I am a fan of his previous films such as Sucker Punch, Watchman and Frank Miller's 300. Though Sucker Punch is the weakest of all his films by far, I still love the visual. His vision for stunning pretty cinema never fail me yet.

As for his new Superman, Henry Cavill, is also a great cast in my opinion. I am a big fan of the show called Tudors so I am sold. Cavill is very good on that show. Below are some image of the new superman, and I notice that he does NOT wear the red underpants! Personally I think it is great! Some art in comic cannot be translate in to a realistic depiction of a character. Can you imagine Wolverine in bright yellow costume? Same here, I think whoever the concept artist is for the Superman design, he made the right call.

These shots, which also feature Antje Traue and Michael Shannon as Kryptonian baddies Faora and General Zod, are a little blurry but obviously detail some kind of face-off on a normal city street. We like Traue's costume but are intrigued by the fact that Shannon's playing the scene in a motion capture suit.

I cannot wait for the new movie to come out, I still remember seeing the very 1st Superman as a kid, it was super duper awesome. Hopefully this one will be one of the great movie like Batman Begins.
