How to paint Assassin Creed Ezio Auditore. Digital painting Ezio Auditore from assassin creed revelation. Assassin Creed series from Ubisoft always have a really stunning visual since the very first one came out into the gaming world. Once again at 2011 E3, the latest trailer, Assassin Creed Revelation also blew me away just like what I would expect to see from Assassin Creed trailer.
I have a lot of request from viewers to do a speed paint of Ezio from Assassin Creed, so here it is.
First, I usually start out with constructional sketch line drawn to find his pose and structure. Most of my sketchy line are really scribble to the point that most people cannot tell what it is. After that I established the silhouette for the hero. During this process everything is still monochromatic because, to me, it is easier to try to figure out the lighting direction. At the end of working monochromatic painting, you can now tell that now it looks a lot more like figure. Once I figured out where the light source is coming from, I will paint or render basic value to overall painting. Now the figure looks a lot more fresh out. I will always try to look at the whole picture rather than focus on tiny little detail, more importantly I really try to focus on the correct lighting. Once I have the basic value in place or close, I will then start to slowly apply color and paint over the value sketch. This time I start off color a lot earlier than usual to switch it up. Most people misunderstood that once apply color over the almost finish monochrome is the end of the process. But no, I will still use the existing color/value to paint over the appropriate area to make it look more like a painting. There are a lot of back and forth process involve. To me, a painting is never finish until only the artist say it is finish.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze (born 1459) was a Florentine noble during the Italian Renaissance and, unbeknownst to most historians and philosophers, a central member of the Assassin Order. A descendant of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and ancestor to both Desmond Miles and Subject 16, Ezio was unaware of his Assassin heritage until the age of 17, when his father and two brothers, Federico and Petruccio, were murdered. Ezio fled his birthplace of Florence and took refuge at the Villa Auditore in the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni.
will feature all three of the series' major characters so far: Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles. It will take Ezio to Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) in 1511 AD, consisting of four districts: Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial, and Galata; Cappadocia at the peak of the Ottoman Empire, part of which will be a completely underground city populated solely by Templars; and Masyaf, which holds the old Assassins stronghold to which Ezio travels at the beginning of the game. He discovers Altaïr has sealed within the fortress an ancient artifact that is said to be a powerful weapon which could end the Templar and Assassin war forever, and has hidden the keys in Constantinople.
