Female Warrior concept illustration character design update

Female Warrior concept illustration character design update.

I have some time to work on the piece again this weekend, it's almost there...
Well, the whole piece is now kind of set, but I will still have to do some clean up and simplify the overall image a bit more. Then, if possible I might do some light tweaking to make it more dramatic. Also I will have to polish her metal armor (*check out video tutorial of similar process art tutorial draw and paint knight armor metal and art tutorial draw and paint gold armor ) a little bit more. But for now I am going to leave it for a couple days. Look away, then come back to take a final look at it and see if there is anything I can do to make this look better.
Also I might have to refine her hair (*See video how to draw render hairand how to draw and render female lips) a little more and clean up her face (How to draw a woman face 3/4, learn how to paint face portrait). Possibly add some definition to her right arm muscle (drawing body muscle tutorial.)

Anyway, here is the image so far

Here is a close up of the character

This is the Final Version I decided on (Eliminated the busy-ness of the previous version of the image)

Just the nose look a bit toward us if I cover eyes and mouth and look just at the nose...

Anton> Thanks :) Let's hope it will get better from here on.

Laurghita> Thanks, but I wouldn't worry about the nose, it's really minor. The lighting overall still a bit disappointing to me. Also values need to be simplify more and a bit more contrast to distinguish the shape and field of depth even more would be nice. It's not my best so far at this point, It needs more punch...and I think I am not brave enough to make a clean cut decision on lighting. This is too flat for my taste. Let's hope I can pull it off it. ;)

Luca> Thanks...I think for this one, it's ok...it could have been better. Let's hope I will be brave enough to make more distinctive values on the image. :)

Odin> Thanks, I really hope so...sometime when I spend too much time on an illo. I get suck in and forgot all the good rules that make good illo. Let's hope this will end up good. :)
