Do the characters use weapons too? I would imagine the monk using aikido like style, but the girl could maybe use knives or maybe a staff.
Anyway,Xia, I have an idea.You said there will be monsters,creatures and so.Then why dont you draw a map of the places Mei and "the monk" will go through.
Anyways. Unique design.
