How to draw man's head basic facial sketch construction.
This tutorial will show you a very basic drawing from start to finish in video real time. Many of you are probably new to the blog or new to drawing so this one is a good start for you guys.
It's also possibly good for those of you who's been drawing for a while also because I might talk about something that I missed on other tutorial.

They might suit your need more.

This one is a basic drawing of a man's head, possibly warrior brutal type, strong jaw line and thick neck stuff. This sketch took me about 5-6 mins to draw.

Love your site! Quite inspirational. The hard part for me always, has been setting time aside to draw which I have been trying to work at for awhile.
Your tutorials have helped me get a grasp of what I need to accomplish in my own drawings and I thank you for that.
Peace!

do you have a tutorial to learn to do the rock? pleaseeeeeeee *-*

Here: http://idrawgirls.blogspot.com/2007/12/painting-and-drawing-landscape-mountain.html

Tips: Painting is about analyzing where you should place light and shadow. Watch for soft edge and hard edge. Using real object or ref to practice. If you can master these, you can pretty much paint everything.
Drawing is to look for edge (outline) of the particular scene or object and mimic it.
Render or shading is not differ than painting in execution.

It's not the rock you will paint, you will paint light and shadow (or values) in color.
As for rock, it is easier to shade and practice value than to draw just outlines.
Make sense?

Agostic> Where? of course at idrawgirls.com buddy. :) where else? Well, actually first, get comfortable with drawing on tablet, then focus on black and white, then achromatic, then monochromatic, then look around the site. And search on the search box for what you want, also look on the right column achieve. Ask people around here question like Luca, Pokepetter, Chris, Dahaca, and Knuckle, etc. I am sure they will be glad to help fellow artist.

Richy> Thanks for stopping by. Where to start? Get a digital tablet and goto gimp.org and download free painting software, then draw and paint everyday...and you are good to go. Also don't forget to draw traditionally with pencil also...practice makes perfect!
