"Rokudenashi Blues" Manga top 100 you should read

"Rokudenashi Blues" Manga top 100 you should read.

This one is some sort of a sub-cultural East Asian typical rebellious teenagers kind of Manga. Friendships, personalities, school gang or clan...whatever goes. One of my favorite of all time. I can understand why it won't be published in English because of its content are too niche...and culturally, it might not make sense.
But if you want to get to know the core of Far East culture, this is the Manga you should read especially if you are a guy.

Rokudenashi Blues (ろくでなしBLUES, Good-For-Nothing Blues?) Is a manga about high school delinquents in Tokyo, Japan, drawn and written by Masanori Morita, and serialized in Shōnen Jump in Japan. While very popular in Japan, it has yet to be released in English.

The story stars Taison Maeda (前田太尊, Maeda Taison?), delinquent student of Teiken High (帝拳高校, Teiken High?), who wishes to become the World Boxing Champion. The manga follows Maeda (and his friends and rivals) as he struggles through 3 years of high school while becoming one of the strongest and best known high school fighters in all of Tokyo. Not just a pure action manga, Rokudenashi Blues is filled with humor and well-crafted story arcs about honor, friendship and the pressures of being a delinquent student in Japan. Short gag-stories with chibi versions of characters are published as 'Rokudenashi Buru-chu'.

Good... I haven't read this one, but from your description it seemed to me that I've seen a movie like it. It's located in Korea and it's called "Once Upon A Time In High School". It has a wonderful realistic story... I think guys will like it!

Peace

The Far East?!When I hear the Far East I think of Korea,Russia,Japan,China. There's alot of countries there.Come to think of it,before two years i spoke with a man from the "east"(on skype)
He was interested about Bulgaria(Im from BG) He even wanted to learn Bulgarian. He said "Kiselo Mliako"
which means "milk" in my language. If it was Xia I'd be very excited to know such a fantastic artist!

luca> they also has similar genre in Hong Kong, "Born to be King"...from the same people who make "Storm Rider"

dahaca> I can read a little Chinese ...the rest is a mystery ;)

Chris> Ha ha, that's right!

dahaca> You forgot Taiwan, Macao, and Mongolia. I wish I have time to use Skype and chat. Most of the time if I am not working, reply e-mail/blog...then I will be either at the gym or drinking. Oh wait, also spending time with family. And still never enough time to get anything done. :(
