Love the site dude, BOOKMARK!!
Just starting out and learning loads, just got myself a Bamboo Tablet and just wanted to ask: what brush settings you're using for the sketching? and what size documents do you usually sketch onto?

Many thanks :D

Kirk>> Thanks, round hard edge brush is fine as long as it set at low 30-50% opacity. Similar to when you use pencil to sketch on paper before you begin final drawing...then it will get darker. Size rec: 200px/inch at 5x7 or 8x10.

Thanks

Amazing stuff, two thumbs up!!! Just a quick question.... what would you suggest for the colour scheme of this witch? Do you have any character from a anime series which i can use for inspiration when coluring her in?

Thank You!!! :)

holtadit> I would go with the Complimentary (Dark Purple dominate then Yellow secondary)
Here is the info for color scheme:

Sorry XIA but im not using a pen tablet for this specific witch - i drew it on paper. What medium do u suggest i use to colour it in?
idrawgirls said…
holtadit> Principle are still pretty similar. Though traditional medium is harder, require more discipline and accuracy. I would use acrylic or gauche...it's easier than water color. Before you paint on top, make sure to wait for the previous color to dry or it will get muddy.
Good luck!
