Character design study work in progress "Mei" Kapow Express pin up.
So since you guys like it from the previous post. I decided to take it further on the painting and hopefully finish her up in the scribble style maybe, I will see what I can do.
Now I am just making some changes in her pose and make her a little meaner body language wise.

*You can just use pencil, paper, markers on this one...just practice rendering.

Every time I look in her face... ah she's so nice man! Really beautiful :)
By the way... I just want to say someething about Photoshop CS4. My friend got it recently and he does not use it for drawing. When I tried to use the brush it was very slow!! You draw and the line follows behind the cursor. It's really annoying! One of the coolest things I found in it though was the rotation tool (R) just like Painter.(just to balance positive and negative!)

luca > The lag with the brush may because you worked at high resolution or he's got a slow computer. CS4 is supposed to be faster than CS3 at least. GPU accelerating or something.
I really want CS4 :p
core2duo, 2GB Ram, 32-bit system, 20GB free harddisk, GeForce 8600M GT...I don't think its because of that, and I worked on a regular 600x800 px canvas with a 72 resolution.
Also I need some of your help... I got Gimp and the problem is that the brush is not answering the pen's command. with the mouse its ok but with the tablet's pen it only moves the cursor. Do I have to set anything??!
